In the beginning, God said that all was good: the birds, the trees, and all the animals. And then God looked at us and said that we are very good. At Journey, we celebrate the uniqueness and belovedness of all creation, including YOU!

In the past year, Journey decided to recommit to its mission in the world. To mark this recommitment, Journey voted on a logo to celebrate this new stage of life. The image chosen by the community was that of a seedling. The seedling is a symbol of Journey being replanted and growing. We may be small, but we are a strong community of people who love and support one another. The possibilities are endless as we await to see the fruits of the work we are continuing.

The logo is in the shape that resembles the front of our building, but it also looks like a house. We are a family, so this shape signifies the home we have created together.

The logo also shows that what happens in these walls does not stay here. Instead, it spills out into creation like the line trailing off in the logo.

And finally, at the heart of this image, we have our seedling which represents the life of Journey: the wonderful people who make up this faith community. It harkens back to the tiny mustard seed from which grows a large tree.
